Living Edge

Taking the furniture showroom online

After ten years online, luxury furniture retailer Living Edge decided it was time for a complete refurbishment – a new website that would present their brand and products in just the right light – and test the viability of online sales.

To re-invigorate Living Edge with a new website, designed to showcase and sell over 400 products, we wanted to build a site that had the same qualities as Living Edge furniture: clean, classic and supremely comfortable.

To bring Living Edge to life online, we began by fleshing out the brand identity. There’s a lot more to a brand than just a logo, so we created a comprehensive Brand Book that articulates Living Edge’s distinctive qualities. In so doing, we set a style for the brand’s online and offline presence.


When designing the site itself, we collaborated with architects and interior designers to ensure every detail reflects the brand values – from the restrained colour palette, to the user-friendly online shop and focus on environmental sustainability. Now, you can step inside the showroom with a single click or tap.


Launched in 2008, LivingOn is Living Edge’s sustainability program – a platform from which they communicate green credentials, environmental initiatives and sustainability performance. Part of our brief was to make this program more visible online. By creating a dedicated section of the website for LivingOn, we were able to give this program far greater weight and exposure.

Since it was launched, the new Living Edge site has seen traffic increase tenfold – which has in turn boosted sales and built some serious brand awareness.
